Wonderful old Creole-French restaurant that requires men wear a jacket (tie optional). I never understood why people said to truly appreciate the experience, you should sit on the first floor, but now I do. Due to the size of our group (12) we elected to make reservations which placed us upstairs as the first floor is first-come, first served only. However, while the first floor is beautiful and open (where you can see the show of waiters and staff working in harmony) the upstairs is segmented, more conventional, somewhat tired and ultimately less special. The food is very good, but for the full experience try to sit downstairs.

A great mid-to-high end casual/contemporary dining restaurant. Clothes suggest fine dining but it stops there. Quality of service is contingent upon group size and time of day. Go for poultry, lamb is adequate at best. Food warm to lukewarm but very tasty and exceptionally cooked. Too many tables in one room so it gets cozy to say the least.

The dining experience as far as the food goes was outstanding. The wait staff and bus staff was very attentive. To have a fine dining experience at a white tablecloth restaurant I would have expected proper serving techniques to be used. That was not the case. However it was certainly an outstanding meal with a creative chef. I would not recommend the pecan pie it was terrible. It was mushy not very flavorful and one cannot taste the pecans.
